We are a collaborative floral design studio creating quintessentially English seasonally inspired bouquets and floral installations for many different industries and private clients covering the southeast and London.
Our base in in the beautiful countryside of West Sussex is perfect for accessing the best flowers from Local flower farmers during the British growing season , Dutch growers in the winter season and Top quality wholesalers New covent Garden Market in London. Having the best selection of flowers at our fingertips is vital for us to be able to provide the most stunning blooms available all year round.
Like a lot of industries that supply fresh goods it is hard to be Eco friendly but we are doing our best to source responsibly ( this means using growers here in the UK when the season allows ) and to limit the amount of plastic we use in our packaging, that is why most of our bouquets are delivered in a re useable recycled glass vase, and you may find that if we use a little bit of plastic for wrapping around the stems of our bunches it is reused from our flower wholesalers. Please recycle or reuse any paper packaging that your flowers are delivered in!
We offer one off bouquets in unique fresh colour combinations and deigns that are always a reflection of the seasons and inspired by natural forms. Subscription flowers and a wedding ready to wear collection all available to view here on our website.
In house design is available for those clients and industries that require a little extra to enhance their brand story, for example weddings and press launches, PR pitches to gain clients and New product release events.
Alongside this we offer Pop up shops, Floristry workshops and 1:1 classes from our West Sussex base.
FJ Cumming has been living and working in Surrey and West Sussex with her family for 12 years, but it was living in Amsterdam next to the Vondelpark in her early twenties that really sparked her passion for flowers and a continuing interest in gardens.
Drawing from her background in Art and design she embarked on her floral business in 2016, firstly teaching small classes in High street stores and providing flowers for large scale events and finally launching a bouquet and subscription flower delivery service in 2019.
Having gorgeous blooms or a lush green plant in the home is something she hopes that more people will embrace as we all know the benefits of plants and flowers on lifting an interior space and mood.
Fj is well known for her floristry classes where she provides glorious selections of materials and is happy to share all that she knows. She says that giving people the knowledge and confidence to arrange flowers for themselves at home is one of the things that makes her most happy.
